BORA Multi-Drawer

The benefits of gentle heat

The multi-drawer’s functionality features pre-sets which can be selected to perform a range of helpful roles in the kitchen:

Slow cooking

The BORA multi-drawer can be used to cook at low temperatures. Slow cooking is renowned for the depth of flavour it can achieve and how natural juices can be retained to ensure succulent and delicious food.

With his background as a chef, our Kitchen Designer, Jack Hone, shared his top tips for slow cooking in a multi-drawer:

The multi-drawer is perfect for Sunday roast beef – a 3-4kg sirloin, (or rib) takes 5 hours at 85°C, then sear off, slice and serve. You’ll never do it any other way.

It is also ideal for slow cooking pork belly, duck, or smaller steaks, prior to pan roasting.

Heating up

The multi-drawer is perfect for reheating meals. It is also a very convenient way to keep food warm, whist other food is cooked or in readiness for eating later.

Warming plates

Such a simple thing, but it makes a huge difference to be able to heat crockery conveniently, for everyday family life, as well as when entertaining.

Safe defrosting

The multi-drawer makes defrosting food safe, easy and convenient.

Something to prove?

If you are someone who can’t resist the smell and taste of homemade breads and bakes, the multi-drawer is the ideal environment for proving dough.

Culinary adventures

The multi-drawer is one of those kitchen appliances that certainly opens up culinary possibilities.

If you have ever wanted to make yoghurt, dry your own herbs or mushrooms, or desiccate fruit for bakes or snacks, then the multi-drawer makes it all very accessible. It is also ideal for marinating dishes.

Size options and intuitive design

The BORA multi-drawer is available in two sizes. Both options have a glass base, but the deeper version also features a useful shelf rack, which is ideal for warming crockery or reheating food.

Operating the multi-drawer is very straightforward. The desired programme can be selected from the user-friendly touchscreen – either from a range of pre-sets, or settings can be manually chosen.

From an aesthetic perspective, the multi-drawer is sleek and pared back. The handleless front panel can be adapted to the design of an existing kitchen or fitted with a glass front.

Hassle-free cleaning

All the multi-drawer surfaces are easy to access and quick to clean. The shelf rack is removable and dishwasher safe.

The elegant design has no sharp edges or joints, so everything can be kept looking immaculate.

Combining BORA technology

The BORA multi-drawer is the perfect partner for the BORA X BO steam oven.

It is possible to connect them so that the multi-drawer functions can be controlled via the BORA X BO’s display.

To achieve a cohesive design, the multi-drawer can be fitted with a glass front to match the steam oven.
