Announcing the long-awaited Quooker Flex in patinated brass

When it comes to keeping abreast of the latest design trends, Quooker always have their finger firmly on the pulse.

Therefore, to meet the growing demand for warm metallics and natural, high-quality materials in contemporary kitchen design, Quooker is introducing a new addition to their Flex range: the Patinated Brass Flex.

We’ve seen for ourselves how customers appreciate the solid feel and natural patina that comes with quality materials such as brass and bronze. This is reflected in their choice of cabinet hardware – much more than a finishing touch, metal accents are often central to your room’s overarching aesthetic.

Patinated brass is the ideal choice for bespoke kitchens where character and authenticity are central to the design. It’s the perfect complement to darker paintwork, warm wood and natural stone.

The Patinated Brass option is available in both the Round and Square Quooker Flex designs – currently the only Flex tap with this option.

Flex functionality

The Quooker Flex combines boiling, hot and cold water in one tap, with the added convenience of a 30cm pull-out hose to reach around your sink. With the addition of the Quooker CUBE, you also have chilled filtered and sparkling water on demand.

Enhanced operation for filtered chilled and sparkling water

With the latest Quooker Flex taps, including the Patinated Brass Flex, the way you dispense chilled filtered and sparkling water has been updated and improved.

The latest taps operate using a new two-click collar control:

  • For chilled filtered water – turn the collar anticlockwise to the first click.
  • For sparkling water – turn the collar to the second click.

Boiling water is still operated using the familiar Quooker push-and-turn safety control.

Caring for patinated brass

The joy of this natural material is that its patina develops over time through daily use.

To protect the finish, a light application of beeswax from time to time is recommended. This protects the surface from oxidation and ensures that the patina develops naturally without losing its subtle sheen. This gentle care ritual will enhance the material’s long-lasting beauty.
