We are always excited to share the latest product innovations from BORA.
They are at the forefront when it comes to inventive design – often problem solving in surprising ways, which make life that little bit easier.
BORA are launching their new self-cleaning sink, a new spacious fridge freezer and progressive updates to the BORA X BO oven and BORA X pure cooktop extractor. Plus, there is greater functionality available via the new BORA JOY app.
The BORA self-cleaning sink
Available from spring 2025
Like many of BORA’s products, it seems almost too good to be true. But BORA’s self-cleaning sink is very much a reality.
Clean
The sleek, minimalist design of the BORA sink is thanks to its fabrication from a quartz composite called CRISTADUR®. The satin-matt surface of this robust material creates a ‘pearling’ effect that repels water and dirt.
The sink’s cleaning function activates water from every side of the sink, this laminar flow quickly washes debris from all surfaces into the drain filter for easy removal. The efficient flow also reduces water consumption.
Sleek
Elegance and minimalism are cornerstones of BORA design.
With the BORA sink, the overflow has been positioned at the front of the sink for an uninterrupted view of the sleek, black quartz.
BORA’s sink is compatible with the innovative Quooker tap, which offers the ultimate convenience of hot, cold and boiling water on demand.
The BORA Cool Combi XL fridge freezer
Available from winter 2024
BORA takes refrigeration and freezing to the next level with this spacious yet ergonomic appliance.
Space
The BORA Cool Combi XL fridge freezer offers around 30 litres more volume, for flexible storage of large containers and bulky food items.
Whilst all this extra volume means the appliance is slightly taller than standard, at 194cm, BORA’s ingenuity means that the standard-width is maintained.
Freshness
The new BORA Cool odour filter, with activated charcoal, filters the air to ensure a fresh environment. The filter’s ergonomic design means it’s simple to change when needed.
BORA’s large freshness compartments feature temperatures close to 0°C, along with moisture regulation, to ensure food can be kept fresher for longer.
Bespoke
Customising your BORA Cool Combi XL to suit your needs has also become easier with additional accessories on offer.
The BORA X BO updates
Availability TBC
The BORA X BO is a revolutionary steamer and conventional oven in one. The X BO harnesses the natural, gentle approach of steam cooking, with the flexibility to cook with heat or a combination of both methods when needed.
BORA’s latest updates to the X BO span its software, and new air fry and baking tray accessories.
Efficient
The BORA X BO will feature over 200 automatic programmes.
With these programmes, focused on everyday recipes, the optimum temperature, cooking time and steam usage are pre-set for ease and to ensure perfect results.
There is also a new, quick-cleaning programme to keep your X BO in perfect condition.
Flexible
BORA has brought air frying capability to the BORA X BO oven. The open, honeycomb structure of its Rapid Air tray means that chips and breaded dishes can be cooked with less fat to achieve crisp, healthy results.
BORA’s new cast aluminium baking and grilling plate has a double sided design, saving space, retaining heat, and giving greater cooking flexibility.
The BORA JOY app
Available from the AppStore from spring 2025
BORA’s JOY app offers you the ability to select a step-by-step recipe from a wide range of pre-set programmes. The app will then automatically tell the BORA X BO, or the X Pure cooktop how to cook it!
The recipes on offer will be constantly expanded to offer you continued choice and inspiration.
The BORA X Pure updates
Available from winter 2024/25
The BORA X Pure is an iconic, minimalist cooktop extractor system. Steam and odours are effortlessly removed via flush-integrated extraction.
Surface
BORA have maximised the cooking space, creating cooking zones of 230×230 or 230x460mm for over-sized cookware.
Design
The updated, tricolour-coded touch panel display is both intuitive and visually appealing. The flush-fitted air inlet nozzle also features a new, purist design.
Functionality
The BORA Assist function lets you know when the cooktop is ready, for efficient meal preparation. BORA Assist is further enhanced by the new BORA JOY app, with greater functionality on offer.
Choice
BORA now offer two glass ceramic versions of their streamlined cooktop.
As well as the high gloss version, you can now choose the BORA X Pure Rough – with an understated matt finish to mask streaks.
