The second home to be featured on the new series of Channel 4’s Grand Designs was a modern spacious light and airy open plan family house built on the site of the original 1930’s detached home.
Great British Interiors were privileged to be asked by the client to carry out installation of this modern bespoke home. Prompted by the company’s willingness to work closely with them, and to provide bespoke solutions and suitable quality purpose built kitchen furniture which both complemented and enhanced the property itself, the clients’ decision was further swayed by our enviable reputation gathered over 27 years.
The result was a stunning ultra modern bespoke scheme with sweeping curved cupboards, contrasting tones and grand proportions using hi-gloss polished acrylic Parapan and sheet glass for the doors in black and white, curtain ended white Corian work surfaces with integrated Corian sinks and top of the range Miele built in appliances to complete the business end of things. Much emphasis was placed on the ergonomics of the design and the working practicalities of the kitchen were particularly appreciated by the client once she had the opportunity to experience that.
Great British Interiors has been providing handmade bespoke kitchens in both contemporary and traditional designs since 1984. Skilled designers with a
wealth of experience in the industry and product knowledge continue to interpret client briefs and solve design, storage and space problems. Every
project involves a tried and tested system of initial information gathering, product advice and design solutions culminating in a skilled manufacturing
service in our own workshops and an installation service provided by our own employed fitters . . .
